Helios lets you create rotas and then quickly duplicate them, making it quick and easy to create fixed shift patterns.
Once you have a rota that you are happy with, you can now take it and have it applied as far in advance as you need. This is very easy to do and there are a few options open to you when you do it.
At the bottom of the page where you have your planned rota, click on the "Use as a template for other weeks" button.
A new set of options will appear just above it and you can choose which week you want the rota copied to, to start from and to the week that you wish the copying to end. You can plan one week ahead or a year, or more if you wish, it's up to you.
Once you've set your dates, choose either to copy with PINs, which will also copy any staff you've allocated, or copy without pins, which will just copy the shifts and no staff allocated, so you can do that later or delegate it out to someone else to fill.
This is ideal if you have fixed shift patterns to deal with.
